Killswitch Engage sono un gruppo metalcore formatosi a Westfield, Massachusetts, nel 1999. La band nacque dalle ceneri di Overcast e Aftershock, con Jesse Leach alla voce, Mike D'Antonio al basso, Joel Stroetzel e Adam Dutkiewicz alle chitarre e Justin Foley alla batteria.
