Timothy Charles Buckley, known simply as Tim Buckley, was an American singer-songwriter and musician born in Hillside, New Jersey, on February 14, 1947. Considered one of the pioneers of experimental songwriting in the 1960s and 1970s, Buckley left a unique musical legacy for his powerful and melodic voice, poetic compositions, and innovative use of acoustic and electronic instruments.
