Wilco is an American alternative rock band formed in Chicago in 1994 by Jeff Tweedy, former member of Uncle Tupelo. Tweedy assembled a group of talented musicians to create a unique sound that blends elements of country, folk, psychedelia and indie rock. Their debut album, *A.M.*, was a critical success in 1995, followed by other important albums like *Being There* (1996), *Summerteeth* (1999) and *Yankee Hotel Foxtrot* (2002).
