I ritorni

E da quel punto in poi
sentimmo sotto di noi
svolgersi il sentimento,
largo e intento
ad una tutta sua meditazione,
non curante
che sopra la sua pelle si ballasse.
Le foglie coi barattoli, le casse
con i tronchi senza cuore.
E lo scandaglio calava dalle prore,
poi ritornava su
chiedendosi Perché, perché il ritorno? .
È sempre per prova che
sulle labbra torna
la parola amore ,
per prove d'esercizio
perché si sa che poi non si sa mai
che potrebbe tornare utile.
Tornare, per raccontare
il furore e il gelo
delle notti aurore.
Bianca e assai provata,
scampata per un pelo per poter ritornare,
come dalle crociate, a un futile
sopravvissuto a tutto,
che ritorna più utile che vivo,
quindi innamorato ancora.
E torna, torna, lei gli ha detto torna
ed era una bambina, finalmente,
e gli diceva torna.
Abbiamo un solo limite:
l'amore che ci divide.
Come la ragione,
perché con la ragione
si sopravvive a tutto,
si distrugge il distrutto,
ricostruendo a intarsi la copia fedele
dell'innamorarsi,
e un tassello alla fine
o è dell'uno o è dell'altro.
E i sogni si allontanano
come i cavalli scossi,
caduti i sognatori;
bocconi tra le fragole, ma
più dolci e più rossi,
ridotti a dolenti spifferi.
E docili incompetenti
nella lotta incerta
tra il ridire e il fare
l'amore colloquiale.
E lei continua a dirsi:
Si sopravvive a tutto per innamorarsi .
Amarsi è questo: escludere
d'essere i soli al mondo,
i soli ad esser soli amando,
sterminandola l'invincibile armata.
