Westlife is an Irish boy band formed in Sligo in 1998. The group, composed of Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne, achieved enormous success in Europe and worldwide with their melodic pop characterized by orchestral arrangements and romantic lyrics. Their self-titled debut album (1999) was an immediate success, followed by other hits like *Coast to Coast* (2000), *World of Our Own* (2001) and *Unbreakable - The Greatest Hits Vol. 1* (2002).
