Fiore reciso lacero sole
Sembrano eterni il profumo e l’amore
Quando lo assorbi e lo secerni
Quando ne interni il dolore
Fiore d’essenza mia desinenza
Che hai sentenziato questa dura penitenza
Questa violenza che è la tua assenza
Immune da aghi e prodigi
Voglio vivere anche un po’ per te
Respirare per ridarti fiato
Poi cercarti in ogni dove sei
Abbracciare ciò che è stato
E vorrei
Risvegliare soffiando il tuo sonno di raso
E vorrei
Far tuonare ogni accusa contro questo reato
E noi rei
Di godere abusando di tempo sprecato
Fiore d’assenzio mero silenzio
Che hai profanato il mio rumore di fondo
Che in questo tempio hai fatto scempio
Hai fatto razza e razzia
Fiore d’Agosto prezioso mosto
Che hai dipanato le parole dall’inchiostro
Che hai dato fuoco a questo vuoto
Che tanto vuoi di quel poco
Voglio vivere anche un po’ per te
Respirare per ridarti fiato
Poi cercarti in ogni dove sei
Abbracciare ciò che è stato
E vorrei
Recitarti a memoria insegnarti alla gente
E vorrei
Ritrovare qualcosa di te in questo niente
Vorrei
Vorrei
Vorrei vivere i miei giorni
Vorrei viverli come se fossero anche un po’ i tuoi

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
