Paolo Conte (Asti, 1937) is an Italian singer-songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist of international fame. After studying law and working as a lawyer, he dedicated himself to music in the 1960s, initially collaborating with artists like Gino Paoli and Mina. His musical style, characterized by jazzy arrangements, refined melodies and poetic and ironic lyrics, has made him one of the most original and acclaimed singer-songwriters on the Italian scene. Among his most famous songs are "Azzurro", "Sogna", "Via con me" and "Genova lirica". Conte has released numerous successful albums, including "Paolo Conte" (1975), "Parole al vento" (1980) and "Come il sole" (2003). Besides music, Conte also dedicates himself to painting, exhibiting his works in various exhibitions.
