Gemini is an Italian pop/rock band formed in 2002 by Antonio, Andrea and Marco Sambalotti. After a long live experience, in 2011 they released their first self-produced album, "PerasperAdastra". This album allowed the band to collaborate with artists like Ettore Diliberto (Custodie Cautelari), Ricky Portera, Maurizio Solieri and Cesareo. In 2011 they also collaborated live with Andrea Braido and in the past with ?O Zulù of 99 Posse and Enzo Salvi. In 2012 they signed their first record deal with Top Records and released the EP "Fuori di testa", which remained for four months among the top positions of the Mondadori and Sorrisi e Canzoni charts. The album, recorded at E.T-Team Studios in Parma and mastered by Alberto Radius in Milan, contains six songs written and arranged by the Sambalotti brothers. The song "Senza Averti Accanto" was chosen to participate in Sanremo Social, receiving many accolades from the popular jury. Gemini participated in Emilia Live, a charity concert for the earthquake victims in Emilia Romagna, and were awarded the Premio Bonifacio VIII. In 2012 they collaborated with Alberto Rocchetti for the project "Liberi di sognare" and released online "Per Sempre", a song chosen for the Sanremo 2013 selections. In 2013 they flew to London at Abbey Road Studios to master their new single "Chissà che sarà", with Simon Gibson, winner of the Grammy Award for remastering the Beatles' complete works. In June of the same year, the EP of the same name was released, produced by Ettore Diliberto and with the collaboration of Tony Cordaro, Anna Portalupi, Salvatore Bazzarelli and Alessandro Mori. The current lineup of the band consists of Antonio Sambalotti (vocals and guitars), Andrea Sambalotti (vocals and keyboards), Marco Sambalotti (guitars), Alessio Rossetti (guitars), Mauro Arduini (bass) and Ivan Liuzzo (drums).
