Jesse Powell is an American R and B and soul singer-songwriter born on September 12, 1971. Discovered by Louil Silas Jr., he is best known for his hit "You", which peaked at #2 R and B and #10 Pop. Powell has released four studio albums to date: Jesse Powell, Bout It, JP, and Jesse. His sisters, Trina and Tamara Powell, are also singers and have released one album together. Jesse is credited with a four-octave vocal range.
