Today is made of silences and oh, and the time between them
But why should I still try to prove it all, if you don't believe it
The world is silent, made for us, the words are mine to say
What's the use in trying, when you know if you don't believe it
Hear your world beginning, as the days divide
See the dawn birds flying in and out of sight
I can heard the music play, maybe I will love you still
I can see you mystery lifted high against the moon
I can hear what you don't say, maybe I will love you still
I can see you spirit lifted high against the moon
Hear your world beginning as the days divide
See the dawn birds flying in and out of sigth
Hear your world beginning as the days divide
See the dawn birds flying in and out of sight
The Horrors are a British rock band formed in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. The group consists of Faris Badwan (vocals), Joshua Von Grimm (guitar), Spider Webb (organ), Tomethy Furse (bass) and Coffin Joe (drums). They debuted in 2005 with the EP "The Horrors". Their sound, difficult to categorize into a single genre, is often described as garage punk with noise rock influences. The Horrors draw inspiration from classic garage rock, particularly the Fuzztones, but also share affinities with punk bands like the Misfits and the Ramones (as evidenced by their single "Sheena Is a Parasite", an homage to "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker"). Among their most important albums are "Primary Colours" (2009) and "Skying" (2011), both critically acclaimed. The band has continued to release music in subsequent years, exploring new musical territories and solidifying their position as one of the most innovative bands in the British indie scene.
