Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, is a Jamaican singer and disc jockey born in Kingston in 1976. Also known as Addi Di Teacha, World Boss, and Gaza Emperor, he is considered one of the most influential dancehall artists of contemporary times.
