The Dream Academy was a British musical group formed in London in 1983 and disbanded in 1991. The group, composed of Nick Chappel (vocals), Gilbert Gabriel (keyboards) and Andy Gangadeen (drums), achieved international success with the single "Life in a Northern Town", released in 1985.
