Se restiamo sulla sabbia mentre il sole cresce
All’ombra di mia madre, curerà i miei occhi
Campane suonano
In centro nella mia testa
Risuonano ancora
Dove sono? Non mi trovo
Ma non m’importa
Tanto lo so che

Deiah, whose real name is Deborah Ruggiero, is an Italian singer-songwriter born in Sardinia but with a Milanese urban attitude. She leaves the dynamism of the sea to pursue that of the city, cultivating her passion for music and carrying within her the waves of her land, transformed into modern vibes that unite past, present and future in an embrace of tradition and innovation. Her inclination for art is born from a young age, thanks also to the teachings of her musician father who transmits to her the universal value of the seven notes. From singing, she soon approaches writing, finding in music the way to give voice to her thoughts and deepest emotions, feeling free and protected. Her releases are a perfect mix between modernity and tradition, which is why she chose her pseudonym by combining the first and last letter of her baptismal name with the affirmation "si" (eia) in limba (Sardinian language). Deiah draws on the past to give voice to the future, demonstrating that to trace the path of one's tomorrow it is fundamental to keep in mind who we are and where we come from. Among her most representative songs: *S'issole*, *L'amore non ha tempo*, *Mare*.
