Calle 13 is a Puerto Rican hip hop duo formed by half-brothers Eduardo José Sánchez (Residente) and René Pérez Joglar (Visitante). The group debuted in 2000 with the album *Los de Atrás del Telón*, which launched them to success throughout Latin America. Calle 13's music is characterized by a strong social commitment, political themes, and a fusion of musical genres such as rap, salsa, reggae, and urban music. Besides the two brothers, they have collaborated with other important artists like reggaeton singers Daddy Yankee and Wisin and Yandel.
