Quasi is an indie rock band formed in Portland, Oregon in 1993. The founding duo consists of Sam Coomes (vocals, guitar, Rocksichord, various keyboards) and Janet Weiss (vocals, drums), a former married couple who have also collaborated on other musical projects. In 2007, bassist Joanna Bolme joined the band officially; she had toured with Quasi in 2006.
