Soen is a Swedish progressive metal supergroup formed in 2011. The core of the project consists of Joel Ekelöf (vocals), Martin Lopez (drums) and Cody Ford (guitar), all hailing from the extreme metal scene. Completing the lineup are Lars Åhlund (bass) and Stefan Stenberg (keyboards). Soen is known for its dark atmosphere, progressive influences and enveloping melodies. Their self-titled debut album in 2014 was met with immediate acclaim, solidifying the band as one of the most interesting acts in the international progressive metal scene. Notable tracks include "Fractional", "Rusted Stars" and "The Words". Soen continues to explore new musical territories with each album, maintaining a unique and recognizable sound.
