Outfield is a British rock band formed in London in the mid-1980s. Composed of Tony Lewis (vocals, guitar), John Spinks (guitar) and Alan Jackman (bass), they achieved international success with their self-titled debut album in 1985, which included the singles "Voices of Babylon", "Your Love" and "Say It Isn't So". Their sound, characterized by catchy melodies and appealing guitar riffs, conquered charts worldwide. After a second successful album, "The Outfield II", the band continued to record music until the 1990s, although they never reached the same level of popularity as their initial period. Tony Lewis passed away in 2023.
