Kun päivän yötä odottaa
Vaan hämärä ei alakkaan
Silloin yö vie toisen
Ja aamua ei näe kumpikaan
Vaan kelois tunto tulevan?
Hetken viimeisen sen kumaran
Kellois ehtyy aika odotan
Se lepo on tuon kulkijan
Koht' ei laulu tuuleen tartu
No ei vartu, no ei pieninkään
Syvän järven pohjaan sortu
Unohtu, ihan yksinään
Ken kyntäjän viittaa sovittaa
Maan rakoseen hän itse joutaa
Huono kirveellä niittää
Itse taipuu ja kuolo kiittää
Kay Kalmistoon näkyy pää taipaleen
Kay Kalmistoon päättyy päivät voipuneen
Kay Kalmistoon näinko loppuu jo tää?
Kay Kalmistoon elo luita kylvää maan poveen routaiseen
Kuka kirvestä käyttää?
Alla puuta no vaiko luuta?
Ken sillä oikeutta jakaa
Sen verellään suapi maksaa
Janona elo vaiko kuolo
Onko luoja vai suruntuoja?
Kirves kalloon kolahtaa
Musta kuolo päähän koppaa
Kay Kalmistoon näkyy pää taipaleen
Kay Kalmistoon päättyy päivät voipuneen
Kay Kalmistoon näinko loppuu jo tää?
Kay Kalmistoon elo luita kylvää maan poveen routaiseen
Kalmistoon
