kangaroo, i'm betting on the offchance, on the offtrack
you left the outback
my kangaroo
kangaroo, jack rabbit in the bushwhack
decided to give you your bounce back
my kangaroo
kangaroo, it ain't so hard for you
to bounce in my back yard
you can sail the ocean blue
my kangaroo
kangaroo, you mean more to me
than just another wannabe wallaby
my kangaroo
kangaroo, i read it in books
they say your country was settled by crooks
but it's okay my kangaroo
kangaroo, it ain't so hard for you
to bounce in my back yard
we can sail the ocean blue my kangaroo (2x)
kangaroo, please don't cry
you won't even miss the air supply
you can sail the ocean blue my kangaroo
my kangaroo
The Big Wu is a rock jam band from Minnesota, composed of Al Oikari, Andy Miller, Chris Castino, and Terry VanDeWalker. Active from the late 1990s to the early 2000s, they gained popularity for their catchy songs and as one of the first jam bands from the Midwest to achieve national success. Their relentless touring in the late 1990s and early 2000s built a loyal fan base that calls themselves "family", many of whom gather for the band's recurring music festival, the Big Wu Family Reunion. From 1998 to 2006, the band annually held the Family Reunion on Memorial Day weekend, and they frequently hold a Wu Years Eve event on December 31st. After 2006, The Big Wu has not toured extensively, playing only periodic shows in their home state of Minnesota. The Big Wu Family Reunion X will be held July 10 - 12 at Harmony Park in southern Minnesota off of Lake Geneva.
