The Big Wu è una rock band jam proveniente dal Minnesota, formata da Al Oikari, Andy Miller, Chris Castino e Terry VanDeWalker. Attivi dal tardo anni '90 all'inizio degli anni 2000, hanno guadagnato popolarità per le loro canzoni orecchiabili e per essere uno dei primi gruppi jam band provenienti dal Midwest a raggiungere un successo nazionale. I tour incessanti di fine anni '90 e inizio 2000 hanno costruito una base di fan fedele che si autodefiniscono "family", molti dei quali si riuniscono per il festival musicale ricorrente della band, il Big Wu Family Reunion. Dal 1998 al 2006, la band ha organizzato annualmente il Family Reunion nel weekend del Memorial Day e spesso tiene un evento Wu Years Eve il 31 dicembre. Dopo il 2006, The Big Wu non ha più fatto tour, suonando solo spettacoli periodici nello stato di Minnesota. Il Big Wu Family Reunion X si terrà dal 10 al 12 luglio presso Harmony Park nel sud del Minnesota, vicino al Lago Geneva.
