Clit 45 was a punk rock band formed in Long Beach, California, in 1996. Their musical style was inspired by traditional punk and hardcore, with influences from artists like The Adolescents, Poison Idea and Bad Religion. The band released its second and third albums with the label BYO Records, distributed in Europe by Cargo Records. Clit 45 shared the stage with bands like The Casualties, The Virus, The Unseen, Bad Religion and A Global Threat. Their last concert was held in Portland, Oregon, in October 2006. After a year-long hiatus, the band officially announced their disbandment on December 25, 2007, via their MySpace page.
