Rata Blanca is an Argentine heavy metal band active since the mid-1980s. Founded by Walter Giardino and Adrián Barilari, the group achieved great popularity in Argentina and other Latin American countries thanks to its epic and melodic sound, influenced by progressive rock and classical music. Among Rata Blanca's most famous songs are "El Reino de la Luz", "La Noche del Fuego" and "Mansión del Final".
