Los Cafres sono un gruppo musicale argentino formatosi negli anni '90, considerati tra i primi a portare il reggae nel panorama musicale del paese. Il nome del gruppo deriva dalla parola araba "kafir", che significa "infedele". La loro musica è caratterizzata da un sound autentico e influenzato dal reggae giamaicano, con testi spesso incentrati su temi come dreadlocks e l'uso di cannabis. Il loro album di debutto, "Frecuencia Cafre" (1995), è stato in parte registrato presso gli storici Tuff Gong Studios di Kingston, Giamaica.
