Irene Grandi is an Italian singer-songwriter born in Florence on December 6, 1969. She debuted at the Sanremo Music Festival in 1994 in the New Proposals category with the song "Fuori", which came in second place behind Andrea Bocelli, who was also making his debut that year. Her debut album featured songs written in collaboration with prominent artists such as Eros Ramazzotti and Jovanotti.
