Mario Calarco (Reggio Calabria, 14 giugno 2001) è un cantautore italiano. La sua passione per la musica nasce in tenera età con le lezioni di chitarra e si amplia durante l'adolescenza includendo pianoforte e canto. Frequenta il secondo anno del triennio in canto jazz al Conservatorio di Musica "F. Cilea" di Reggio Calabria, affinando la tecnica vocale e immergendosi nella tradizione jazzistica. Ha partecipato a masterclass con Ernesto Marciante, Serena Brancale e Geoff Westley, contribuendo alla sua crescita artistica. Collabora con l'orchestra di fiati Città di Bagnara Calabra e con l'orchestra Thaleia di Sant'Eufemia D'Aspromonte. Nel 2024 è finalista del Premio Mia Martini, sezione Nuove Proposte per l'Europa con il brano "Un Sogno", vincitore del premio come Miglior Canzone Radiofonica. Nel 2025, è semifinalista al Fatti Sentire Festival e finalista nella sezione Cantautori di Je So Pazz Music Fest, entrambi con il brano "Mimì". La scrittura delle canzoni rappresenta per lui un modo di raccontare la propria esperienza. Tra le sue composizioni più significative ci sono "Mimì", scritta in memoria di Mia Martini, e "Frammenti di Mantra", diventata sigla di un evento disco chiamato Mantra. È anche videomaker e tiktoker. Per Mario, la musica è il modo principale di dialogare con il mondo e con chi lo ascolta.
