Asta Kask è una storica band punk svedese originaria di Toreboda. Fondata nel 1978 come "X-tas", ha cambiato nome in Asta Kask nel 1980. Nel 1984 ha iniziato a collaborare con l'etichetta Rosa Honung Records, pubblicando nel 1986 l'album "Aldrig en LP". Dopo questo disco la band si è sciolta, per poi riunirsi nel 1989 e tornare in attività fino al 1992. Nel 2003 Asta Kask ha ripreso a esibirsi, segnando un ritorno dopo anni di silenzio. Nel 2004 il batterista Bjurre si è dimesso, sostituito da Dadde (dei Wolfbrigade). Nel 2005 la band ha lasciato Rosa Honung Records per firmare con Burning Heart Records. Nel 2006 Asta Kask ha registrato il suo primo album in vent'anni. Il loro sound punk è caratterizzato da un forte impatto e testi spesso politici.
