Lifelines
We make amends and say our last goodbyes
Like falling through a ceiling
Some [?] just dreaming
I'm losing all feeling
Time flies
Somehow we drift away from our love lives
But you can make new friends
Well, I've been meeting dead ends
I'm losing all meaning
Tell me that you want me
Give me what all eyes have been looking for
You're the handle to my wooden door
The butter to my bread
Lifelines
I'd throw a rope thinking that love is blind
Swimming in the deep end
You've been scheming
I'm barely breathing
Oh, what I'd give to be born again
Days become night
Night become hell
Oh, what's to blame [?]
I'll kick and I'll move
And face it alone
Oh, I settled for second best
Guess there's nothing more
Being your [?]
Lifelines
Sooner or later everything will die
Am I not the exception?
Guess I'm nothing special
Thanks for the life lesson
