Powderfinger è stato un gruppo musicale rock australiano formatosi a Brisbane nel 1989 e scioltosi nel 2010. Composto da Bernard Fanning (voce, chitarra), Ian Haug (chitarra), John Collins (basso), Paul McDougall (batteria) e Jason «Fuzzy» Moffat (tastiere), la band ha raggiunto un successo straordinario in Australia con una serie di album che hanno venduto milioni di copie. Il loro sound, caratterizzato da riff rock energici, melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi, li ha consacrati come uno dei gruppi più importanti della scena musicale australiana.
