Harmonium was one of the most important progressive rock bands in Canada, particularly in Quebec. Their musical style is characterized by complex arrangements, poetic lyrics and a strong theatrical component in live performances. Among their most representative songs are "L'amour est une chose", "Je te donne", "Le temps qui passe" and "La fille du soleil". Harmonium released five studio albums, including the self-titled debut album (1974) and the cult album "Si on avait besoin d'un miracle" (1976). The band disbanded in 1978 due to internal conflicts. Their musical legacy remains a reference point for Canadian progressive music.
