Lumière de nuit
Mon seul point d'appui
Tu tournes autour de la terre
En portant l'infini
Lumière d'esprit
Comme je suis petit
Réveille-moi comme au dernier jour
De ma vie
Lumière du jour
Parle-moi, c'est ton tour
Tu fais tourner la terre
Et moi, je cherche autour
Lumière d'amour
Comme le temps est court
Trop court pour retrouver la nuit
En plein jour
Quand la rosée fait des étincelles
Vous êtes si belles
Comme le matin qui s'éveille
S'émerveille
Je vous aime
Toutes les deux
Lumière de vie
Mon seul point d'envie
C'est naître à la lumière
Et puis en faire partie
La nuit, le jour
Parle-moi d'amour
Harmonium was one of the most important progressive rock bands in Canada, particularly in Quebec. Active from 1970 to 1978, the group managed to combine jazz, psychedelic and classical influences with a sound strongly rooted in the Canadian folk tradition. Their musical style is characterized by complex arrangements, poetic lyrics and a strong theatrical component in live performances. Among their most representative songs are "L'amour est une chose", "Je te donne", "Le temps qui passe" and "La fille du soleil". Harmonium released five studio albums, including the self-titled debut album (1974) and the cult album "Si on avait besoin d'un miracle" (1976). The band disbanded in 1978 due to internal conflicts. Their musical legacy remains a reference point for Canadian progressive music.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
