I was just scum I was a hired gun
When I found you I found the sun
It hurts me to but I have to admit
I won’t make it if we have to split
Give me a waterfall Give me a beach
Give me a phone-call I’m not hard to reach
Give me a crack pipe and I will take a hit
I’ll do whatever drugs if we have to split
You say you’re dead-drunk but you just took a sip
I’ll buy another round and I’ll leave a good tip
You say “David, I really thought you’d quit”
But I’ll drink like a sailor if we have to split
And in the morning when you open your eyes
You do the training and the exercise
I’d rather cuddle with you but you don’t feel like it
It will kill me baby if we have to split
In your vision you saw a magician
He pulled you to the bottom of the ocean
Don’t be scared magicians don’t existBut I’ll sink like a stone if we have to split
Now am I holding you tight in your sleep?
Do I tell you the secrets that I should keep?
I feel it now like I never felt it
The world will end when we have to split
Herman Dune is a French duo formed in 1999. Originally a trio, the band now consists of David-Ivar Herman Dune (guitars and vocals) and Neman Herman Dune (drums and sometimes backing vocals). Neman, who is from Switzerland, replaced former drummer Ome in early 2001. On December 13, 2006, Andre Herman Dune played his last show with the band, and subsequently changed his name to Stanley Brinks. With Andre's departure, the umlaut was dropped from the name. The band are often joined by other musicians on live performances. Their sound is rooted in folk rock, characterized by catchy melodies and introspective lyrics. Some of their most representative tracks include «The Sun Is Shining», «I Don't Know What to Do» and «You Are My Love».
