Badfinger was a British rock band active from the 1960s to the 1970s, known for their power pop sound influenced by Merseybeat and psychedelic music. Formed in Liverpool in 1967 as The Iveys, the group changed their name to Badfinger in 1968 after signing with Paul McCartney's Apple Records. Their success came with the 1970 album "No Dice", which included the single "Day After Day", one of the band's most famous songs. Other hits include "Come and Get It", written by Paul McCartney and recorded as the group's first single, and "Baby Blue", which became a rock classic. Sadly, Badfinger's story is marked by tragedies: two members of the group committed suicide due to the pressure resulting from disastrous management during that era.
