Anti-Flag is an American punk rock band formed in 1988 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, by founding members Justin Sane (guitar/vocals) and Pat Thetic (drums)and known for its outspoken left-wing political views. Much of this has focused on fervent anti-war activism, criticism of United States foreign policy, corporatism, U.S. wealth distribution, and various sociopolitical sentiments. Members include founding members, singer/guitarist Justin Sane, drummer Pat Thetic, and later members guitarist Chris Head, and snger/bassist Chris Barker who replaced Jamie "Cock" Towns, who had replaced original bassist Andy Flag in 1997 following his departure one year prior.
