The Automatic are a British indie rock band formed in Cowbridge, Wales, in 2003. Their sound is characterized by a mix of pop punk, new wave and catchy melodies. The group achieved success with their debut album "The Automatic", released in 2005, which sold over 100,000 copies in the UK. Their most famous single is "Monster", which reached number 3 on the UK charts. After several albums and international tours, The Automatic disbanded in 2010.
