Shine, whose real name is Mirko Mangiavillano, is a young Genoese artist of pop punk born in 2008. Growing up in a family of musicians, he started performing on stage at the age of 7, singing with his parents who manage a liscio orchestra. This early stage experience is reflected in his current performances. Writing and singing have been his passion for four years, creating a personal pop punk that blends catchy melodies with modern influences. Among his main inspirations are Green Day, Linkin Park, Sum 41, Avril Lavigne and Machine Gun Kelly, but also Italian pop artists like Alfa and Olly. His music tackles universal themes for Generation Z: love, toxic relationships, social anxiety, youthful distress and the search for identity in a world that tends towards uniformity. Shine wants to transmit hope and solidarity through his songs, uniting those who feel alone or in difficulty. His fanbase is young, devoted and interactive, aged 12 to 25, with whom he shares an authentic bond thanks to curated social media content, engaging live performances and direct communication. He has already released singles, an EP and official music videos, performing at numerous important live events, including Webboh at Sanremo 2024 with Marlù, on TV for the Disco d’Argento, and in front of 2000 people in Rimini before Mirko Casadei. His dream is to leave a mark with his music: to create authentic songs that last over time and touch people's hearts.
