Ich gestand dir meine Liebe
Und du hast mich ausgelacht
Ich hörte auf ein Mensch zu sein
Und schlief nie mehr bei Nacht
Hast mich verlassen gleich danach
Ich blieb zurück bei Kerzenschein
Kehrte meinen Blick nach innen
Und sah ganz tief in mich hinein
Ein Abgrund tat sich in mir auf
Tiefschwarz und ohne Boden
Dies Loch hast du dort eingepflanzt
Mich um mein Heil betrogen
Ich fülle dieses Loch mit Mord
Steck 1000 Leiber rein
Einen Berg werd ich errichten
Und du sollst die Spitze sein
Oben auf dem Leichenberg
Wo bei Tag die Sonne brennt
Liegt ein Hauch von Fleisch auf dir
Der den Tod vom Leben trennt
Oben auf dem Leichenberg
Bist du nachts dem Himmel nah
Wenn dich der Mond fahl grüßt
Als er dich dort unten sah
Zwischen all dem Leid
Zwischen all dem Fleisch
Hab dich gesucht so lange Zeit
Es ist dein Herzschlag, der mich führt
Wie ein Licht in dunkler Nacht
Den Weg zu dir mit Blut markiert
Als ich dich fand, hast du geschrien
War plötzlich da, stand neben dir
Nun kannst du nicht mehr länger fliehen
Und wirst ein fester Teil von mir
Der Berg ruft, kannst du ihn hören
Trage dich auf Händen ganz empor
Bis auf den Gipfel nah dem Mond
Wie ich es einst im Fieber schwor
Dein schöner Leib, noch füllt ihn Leben
Auch wenn die Farbe aus ihm weicht
Lass uns an die Spitze streben
Gleich haben wir das Ziel erreicht
Oben auf dem Leichenberg
Nur wir beide, ganz allein
Halten still den Atem an
Um für immer dort zu sein
Oben auf dem Leichenberg
Sind wir zwei dem Himmel nah
Wenn uns der Mond beim Sterben grüßt
Als er uns dort unten sah
Zwischen all dem Fleisch
