Once in a lifetime
Once in a lifetime
I wanna drink
Wanna think
Write a song about it
I wanna smoke
Make a joke
Try to hide the damage
I wanna drive this car
Right over the edge
Of every bad idea
I didn't have yet
I look at you
Look at me
Feeling kinda tragic
Dazed and confused
Hard to see
Where we lost the magic
I never meant to be hypocritical
This fucking crazy rides left me cynical
Just like that
I know there's no turning back
We already made this bed
And I can't even sleep in it
Once in a lifetime
Never the right time
Take it fast
And kill me slow
Try to forget you
Gotta pretend to
'Til I hit an all-time low
Once in a lifetime
Never the right time
To throw out everything we had
Try to forget you
Gotta pretend to
I hope a heart only breaks this bad
Once in a lifetime
I try to run
Try to hide
Just forget about it
I tell myself
Every night
I could live without it
I wanna say good-bye to the loneliness
But every time I do, I make another mess
Just like that
I know there's no looking back
We already made this bed
And I can't even sleep in it
Once in a lifetime
Never the right time
Take it fast
And kill me slow
Try to forget you
Gotta pretend to
'Til I hit an all-time low
Once in a lifetime
Never the right time
To throw out everything we had
Try to forget you
Gotta pretend to
I hope a heart only breaks this bad
Once in a lifetime, once in a lifetime
Once in a lifetime, once in a lifetime
Just like that
I know there's no turning back
We already made this bed
And I can't even sleep in it
Once in a lifetime
Never the right time
Take it fast
And kill me slow
Try to forget you
Gotta pretend to
'Til I hit an all-time low
Once in a lifetime
Never the right time
To throw out everything we had
Try to forget you
Gotta pretend to
I hope a heart only breaks this bad
Once in a lifetime, once in a lifetime (I hope a heart only breaks this bad)
Once in a lifetime, once in a lifetime
All Time Low is an American pop-punk band formed in the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland, in 2003. The original lineup consisted of Alex Gaskarth (vocals and guitar) and Jack Barakat (guitar), who later recruited Zack Merrick (bass) and Rian Dawson (drums). Influenced by bands like Green Day and blink-182, All Time Low distinguished themselves for their energetic sound and engaging live shows, often characterized by confetti and beach balls. After playing in local venues on the East Coast and South during school breaks, they released the EP "The Three Words to Remember in Dealing with the End" in 2004 and the album "The Party Scene" the following year. In 2006, they were signed by Hopeless Records after sharing the stage with bands like Motion City Soundtrack, The Early November, and Plain White T's. Their first album for Hopeless Records was "Put Up or Shut Up", followed by "So Wrong, It's Right" in 2009. Some of All Time Low's most representative songs include "Dear Maria, Count Me In", "Weightless", "Monsters", and "Somewhere in Nevada".

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
