Madcon is a Norwegian hip hop duo composed of Tshawe Baqwa (Kapricon) and Yosef Wolde-Mariam (Critical). Kapricon was born in Germany to South African parents but grew up in Tveita, near Oslo. Critical, on the other hand, is Norwegian by birth but of Ethiopian and Eritrean origin.
