I saw the branches of the trees upon a street like this
a patch of grass where mushrooms grew ... then I thought again
This is how it's gonna be and I will have to change
this is what you think you mean, you better think again
All I ever wanted was to know one single thing
instead I kept on listening to a bunch of idiotic kings
at least that's what they thought
at least that's what they thought
People always bitchin' about dignity respect
what they mean it's clear to me is fear, money and sex
being right and being strong, there is no other way
unless you're weak, unless your wrong, then you'll have to pay
All I ever wanted was to know one single thing
instead I kept on listening to a bunch of idiotic kings
at least that's what they thought
at least that's what they thought
All I ever wanted was to know one single thing
instead I kept listening to a bunch of idiotic kings
at least that's what they thought
at least that's what they thought
