They Might Be Giants are an alternative pop/rock duo formed in 1982 by John Linnell and John Flansburgh. Originally from Lincoln, Massachusetts, the two met in high school before going their separate ways after graduation. They reunited in New York, where they formed the band. They Might Be Giants are known for their musical style characterized by ironic lyrics and catchy melodies, often with experimental influences.
