Field Music is an indie rock band from Sunderland, England. Formed in 2004, the group consists of brothers David and Peter Brewis (the latter previously played drums for fellow Sunderland band The Futureheads), along with Andrew Moore. Over the years, the lineup has included members from Maximo Park and The Futureheads. Before Field Music, the Brewis brothers collaborated in other musical projects such as The New Tellers and Electronic Eye Machine. Their sound is characterized by complex arrangements, psychedelic influences, and a touch of catchy pop. Among their most representative songs are "It's a Beautiful Day", "The Wire" and "I Want To Be Your Friend".
