Lyrics Overthrowing creation itself Grade

 1.185

Overthrowing creation itself

when the shadows grow long
and gravity begins to let you down
can the spacebound foetus
pilot around and our way out
because to me every moment matters
you can never move forward
while standing still
to me every moment matters
shall we just place the blame
on invention or our ability
of discovery
the temperature will drop
as the astronauts
are seduced by the twilights
motherly appeal
and deaths arms are outward bound
as we strike upwards
towards the stars
into this god's trained hands
to me every moment matters
because death's arms are outward bound
crushing us like cars
into tiny squares
to me every moment matters

Thank you because you correct this lyrics

The lyrics OVERTHROWING CREATION ITSELF of GRADE is also present in the album Headfirst straight to hell (2001)

Biografia

Grade was a Canadian hardcore band active from the late 1990s to the early 2000s. Their debut came in 1994 with the split album "Grade/Believe", released by the Canadian label Workshop Records. In 1997 they followed with "And Such Is Progress" and in 1998 with "Separate the Magnets", which garnered critical acclaim and led to high-profile touring slots with bands like Jimmy Eat World, Hot Water Music, and Fugazi. In 1999 they signed with Victory Records, releasing the EP "Triumph and Tragedy" and the studio album "Under the Radar". In 2000, "The Embarrassing Beginning", a collection of earlier tracks and rarities, was released. In 2001, original guitarist Greg Taylor left the band to pursue Jersey full-time, replaced by Brad Casarin. Chris Danner subsequently departed, with Charlie Moniz joining for the release of the album "Headfirst Straight to Hell". In their final incarnation, only Kyle Bishop remained, backed by members of the group Somehow Hollow.
