Almafuerte è un gruppo musicale argentino formatosi nel 1995. Il loro sound, definibile come hard rock con influenze folk e latine, ha conquistato un seguito fedele in Argentina e in altri paesi latinoamericani. Tra i membri fondatori si annoverano Claudio Marciello (voce) e Ricardo Iorio (basso), entrambi provenienti da gruppi di successo come Malvinas e V8. L'esordio discografico del gruppo risale al 1996 con l'album "Del entorno", seguito da "Mundo guanaco" nel 1998. Nel corso degli anni, Almafuerte ha pubblicato altri album di grande successo come "Almafuerte" (2000), "Piedra libre" (2003) e "En vivo: Obras 2001" (registrato durante un concerto al Teatro Obras). Tra i brani più rappresentativi del gruppo ricordiamo "El camino", "La vida es una fiesta", "Mundo guanaco" e "Piedra libre".
