Percival is my name, my kingdom is wide
at home, my forest, still flies the unicorn
a time there was
when my blood ran wild
the dream of strenght last
ordered me to live
and I did not even know
what I was looking for
a time there was
when my blood ran wild
the dream of strenght last
hurt me to live
and I did not even know
what I was looking for
the stone that mays go on
the way not to grow on
the way to know my destiny
on love and faith may be.
Now my hair are grey
and there I did not find much.
It's useless to say
but I' ve finally understood
It's useless to say
but I've finally understood
how very hard it is to become a man (2).
The New Trolls are an Italian musical group formed in Milan in 1967. Considered pioneers of Italian progressive rock, they have gone through various stylistic phases, from the psychedelic pop-rock of their beginnings to the more complex and experimental prog of the seventies. Among the founding members were Vincenzo Incenzo (vocals), Gianni Belleno (guitar), Riccardo Fogli (keyboards) and drummer Maurizio Solieri. Over the course of their career, they have released numerous successful albums, including "Quella strana sensazione" (1970), "Concerto per un'orchestra rock" (1972) and "Il libro dei sogni" (1973). The New Trolls are known for their energetic and innovative live performances, characterized by complex arrangements and a strong theatrical component. Among the most representative songs are "T'amo", "La mia banda suona il rock", "Il libro dei sogni" and "Quella strana sensazione".
