Biografia

Yandel, born Llandel Veguilla Malavé, is a Puerto Rican singer and record producer from Carolina, Puerto Rico, born in 1980. He is known for being one of the founding members of the musical duo Wisin and Yandel, considered among the pioneers of modern reggaeton. Yandel's career began in the 1990s with his collaboration with Wisin, forming the duo that dominated Latin American and international music charts for over a decade. After the duo's breakup in 2018, Yandel embarked on a solo career, releasing successful albums such as "Dangerous" (2019) and "La Revolución" (2021). Among his most famous songs are "Rakata", "Mayor Que Yo", "Danza Kuduro" and "Dejala Bailar". Yandel is known for his energetic musical style, engaging performances and ability to blend reggaeton with other genres such as salsa and pop.
