Almafuerte is an Argentine rock band formed in 1995. Their music blends hard rock with folk and Latin influences, gaining a loyal following in Argentina and other Latin American countries. Founding members include Claudio Marciello (vocals) and Ricardo Iorio (bass), both coming from successful bands like Malvinas and V8. The band's debut album, "Del entorno", was released in 1996, followed by "Mundo guanaco" in 1998. Over the years, Almafuerte has released other successful albums such as "Almafuerte" (2000), "Piedra libre" (2003) and "En vivo: Obras 2001" (recorded during a concert at Teatro Obras).
