Robert Cray is an American guitarist and singer born in Columbus, Georgia, in 1953. Considered one of the greatest interpreters of modern blues, Cray gained international fame in the 1980s with his powerful vocal style and refined guitar technique. Among his most important albums are "Strong Persuader" (1986), winner of a Grammy Award, and "Midnight Stroll" (1990).
