72WST è un gruppo musicale pop rock formatosi a Marsiglia nel 2008. Il quartetto, composto da David, Emmanuel, Michael e Adrien, si distingue per le sue originali composizioni musicali. Inizialmente attivo solo online con la creazione di una pagina MySpace, il gruppo ha rapidamente guadagnato popolarità grazie al successo della canzone "Victoria". Dopo alcuni concerti intimi, 72WST ha partecipato al festival Emergenza, raggiungendo le semifinali. Nel 2009, il gruppo ha firmato un contratto con l'etichetta discografica iMusician Digital e ha pubblicato il suo primo EP, seguito dall'album di debutto nel novembre dello stesso anno. L'album ha riscosso un discreto successo, portando il gruppo a partecipare a trasmissioni radiofoniche locali come "Music à thème" (Radio JM) e "Rock AixPress" (Radio Zinzine). Dopo alcuni concerti all'estero, tra cui Oxford e New York, 72WST ha pubblicato nel marzo del 2011 il secondo album, "Pachyderme World". Le opere grafiche per i concerti e le copertine degli album sono state realizzate da Benjamin Courchia, un fotografo francese residente a New York.
