72WST is a pop-rock band formed in Marseille in 2008. The quartet, composed of David, Emmanuel, Michael and Adrien, stands out for its original musical compositions. Initially active only online with the creation of a MySpace page, the group quickly gained popularity thanks to the success of the song "Victoria". After some intimate concerts, 72WST participated in the Emergenza festival, reaching the semifinals. In 2009, the group signed a contract with the iMusician Digital record label and released its first EP, followed by the debut album in November of the same year. The album was moderately successful, leading the band to participate in local radio shows such as "Music à thème" (Radio JM) and "Rock AixPress" (Radio Zinzine). After some concerts abroad, including Oxford and New York, 72WST released their second album, "Pachyderme World", in March 2011. The graphic works for the concerts and album covers were created by Benjamin Courchia, a French photographer living in New York.
