Promise me

I think a part of me is hurting
I can't look you in the eye
You read me better than a poem
Guessing every single rhyme

Will you open up this letter
With this heart upon your sleeve
Knowing you're not what is missing
I am the only tragedy

Just the thought of me letting you go
Seems so hard when you're all that I know
If you need to walk away then let me
Let me go

Will you promise me
Promise me love
Even if time
Time take its part
Will you promise me
Promise me love
Ooh
I tried so hard to be the oneWasn't ready for you all along, so
Will you promise me
Promise me love
Ooh

You are to special to be broken
And I can't be the reason why
I am too lost to be your only
And I can't lay with you and lie

Just the thought of me letting you go
Seems so hard when you're all that I know
If you need to walk away then let me
Let me go

So
Will you promise me
Promise me love
Even if time
Time take its part
Will you promise me
Promise me love

I tried so hard to be the one
Wasn't ready for you all along, so
Will you promise me
Promise me love

Just the thought of me letting you go
Seems so hard when it's all that I know
If you need to walk away then let me
Let me go

Will you promise me
Promise me love
Even if time
Time take its part
Will you promise me
Promise me love

I tried so hard to be the one
Wasn't ready for you all along, so
Will you promise me
Promise me love

Will you promise me
Promise me love
