Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri, known simply as Luis Miguel, is a Mexican singer and songwriter born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on April 19, 1970. Considered one of the greatest Latin artists of all time, he has sold over 100 million records worldwide. He began his musical career at the age of six, singing in Mexican venues with his father. In 1982, he signed a record deal and released his first album at just twelve years old. His musical style is characterized by a fusion of Latin pop, bolero, salsa, and traditional Mexican music. Among his most famous songs are "La Incondicional", "Hasta Que Me Olvides" and "Ahora Me Llama". Luis Miguel has won numerous awards, including five Grammy Awards and six Latin Grammy Awards.
